This past October, Georgia Anne Muldrow and DJ Romes united as Blackhouse, a crew hellbent on resurrecting the electro-inspired dance-party fun of early hip-hop—with a modern twist. Their eponymous Mello Music Group album was greeted with arms wide open by older heads and young fans alike.
