50 Cent Talks Chief Keef, Dr. Dre, “New Day”, Oprah, “Street King Immortal” & More [Audio]

50 Cent is on the line with seemingly 50-plus things to talk about to The Ryan Cameron Show. There’s the steadily-climbing “New Day” single he has with Alicia Keys and Dr. Dre. (How do you get someone who just pulled in over $100 million in a year selling headphones, on a record? Turns out, “New Day” started out as a single for Dre’s long-awaited “Detox” album). That collaboration leads up to 50 Cent’s next CD, “Street King Immortal” — which he seemed pretty certain will actually, finally, be released Nov. 13. Moving from music to movies, there’s “Freelancers” with Oscar winners Robert DeNiro and Forest Whitaker; the latter of which he says is so good at his craft “There [were] points that I didn’t know whether he was acting or he was drunk.” Not to mention it wasn’t that long ago that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was in the studio with Ryan, asking his audience to say a prayer for his friend 50 because he was in the hospital. (The moral of THAT story: “Don’t eat Jamaican food in France!”) It all made for a wide-ranging interview that also included his take on what’s happening between Chief Keef and Lupe Fiasco as well as what Oprah Winfrey did for his grandmother after their recent interview.
