We make another stop in Philly this week with my close friend Rich Medina. We spoke about a remix I slept on for years, “Oblighetto” by Brother Jack McDuff. I always knew about the record from sampling it on my own but somehow I managed to overlook Dilla’s take on it. When I saw the 45 I flipped – “A fucking 45!” Wow! Rich always had to nack to shock me with records and his extensive knowledge of them. In our convo he made some interesting points. Peep it. – Jeedo
