Brian Breach feat. Mickey Factz – One Step Closer [Audio]

“One Step Closer” is a passionate mission statement from Florida rapper Brian Breach, who makes it clear that his artistry, and what he puts into his music is his top priority. It also features a stellar guest feature from Bronx spitter Mickey Factz, who delivers equally contemplative bars about what it means to be an artist in today’s indie music universe. The track stems from Breach’s recently released LP, ‘Matter of Fact,’ which includes other standout joints like “Breakfast,” featuring Chris Rivers. But it’s “One Step Closer” that perfectly captures Breach and his approach to his craft. Beneath the slick bravado and super-sharp technical skills, he’s a man trying to make it on his own terms doing what he loves. As he sing-songs on the infectious chorus, “I got this Biggie song stuck in my head/ Turn my negative to positive/ And every day I’m getting closer…” The track is produced by George Young, who provides a soaring instrumental that precisely complements Breach and Factz’ raps. Backed by Young’s melodic vocal sample and layer of guitars, you’ll hear both emcees doing what they do best; dropping bars with reckless abandon. Check out the track for yourself, and if you’d like to support, Breach’s 15 track effort, ‘Matter of Fact,’ is now available on iTunes and all major digital retailers and streaming platforms, courtesy of GTPS.

Brian Breach feat. Chris Rivers – Breakfast [Video]

If you can learn one thing from Florida rapper Brian Breach’s cinematic new video for “Breakfast,” it’s that you should never, ever be disrespectful to folks in the service industry. You never know who’s paying attention, or what they might to do you if you decide to act like an asshat. The track itself, which stems from Breach’s new ‘Matter of Fact’ album, is a pure and raw display of technical prowess. The rapper and his guest, NYC spitter Chris Rivers, rip apart the Makemdef instrumental with crazy internal rhymes and wordplay. Both of those qualities made their way into Breach’s track-closing verse, which boasts rhymes that may have served as the inspiration for the Gusto Gold Productions video: “Me and Rivers will breach anybody that come/ This ain’t a hobby, we’ll body anybody for fun.” Now, that’s not to say the two didn’t have a reason to assault the guy in this video—again, dude was disrespectful to the waitstaff—but he also probably didn’t know what he was getting into. Gusto Gold Productions run with the concept of Breach and Rivers being lyrical (and literal) bruisers, and it falls in line with equally fresh visuals they’ve done for Meyhem Lauren and Mr. MFN eXquire. Check out the visuals for “Breakfast,” and then show your support for ‘Matter of Fact,’ which is now available through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms.
