John Legend – Don’t Need To Sleep [Audio]
John Legend has returned with a new song called “Don’t Need To Sleep”.
Selected for the 2023 Tribeca Festival, “We Dare To Dream”, now available for streaming on Peacock, is a sports documentary highlighting the refugee Olympic team’s historic journey at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Directed by Waad Al-Kateab, the film narrates the compelling story of refugee athletes from Iran, Syria, South Sudan, and Cameroon as they strive for opportunity and safety in host nations worldwide through swimming, running, and various pursuits. Executive produced by Angelina Jolie and EGOT recipient John Legend, the documentary provides a poignant exploration of resilience and determination.
“Don’t Need To Sleep” is taken from the film’s soundtrack.
“I am honored to contribute an original song to We Dare to Dream,” says Legend. “Waad Al-Kateab has created an important film, and I hope “Don’t Need to Sleep” does the documentary and its extraordinary subjects justice.”
