The highly anticipated posse cut from the late DJ Kay Slay, “Rolling 200 Deep”, has finally been unveiled.
Continuing the pattern set by “Rolling 50 Deep” and “Rolling 110 Deep”, the latest release involves a collective of 200 rappers, spanning across various generations of hip-hop artists in its 62-minute duration. The composition comprises 16 distinct tracks and was in progress prior to Kay Slay losing his battle with Covid-19 last year.
Among the featured artists are iconic figures such as Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, Raekwon, Run DMC, Bun B, Big Daddy Kane, and Goodie Mob, alongside a roster that includes Tony Yayo, Cory Gunz, KING Crooked, Uncle Murda, Cassidy, Joel Ortiz, Young Buck, Rah Digga, Kid Capri, and numerous others. Suits TM from Trackateering Music handles the production, while the music video is directed and edited by Will C. and Richie4K from StreetHeatTV.
