Snoop Dogg & Chef Nikki Steward Team Up To Launch of MERRY JANE’s “Loud And Clear” Campaign [Video]

To celebrate the start of MERRY JANE’s “Loud and Clear,” a grassroots campaign focused on continuing the fight for cannabis legalization, a who’s who of 420-friendly artists and activists joined forces for an infused dinner party with eyes towards effecting change. With dishes by chef Nikki Steward, DJ Snoopadelic (aka Snoop Dogg), Blackish star Anthony Anderson, singer Faith Evans, rapper Too $hort, a host of cannabis-minded celebrities, and some of the Golden State’s most notable legal weed companies met in Los Angeles at the home of Absolut Elyx vodka CEO Jonas Tahlin for an eventful evening earlier this month. The menu boasted Nashville hot chicken & waffle skewers with infused bourbon maple syrup, Thai ceviche with coconut & lemongrass, and gazpacho mussel shooters infused with Absolut Elyx Vodka. To make the dishes really pop, Steward infused the meal with products from industry heavyweights like Ruby CBD Sugar, Mind Tricks’”Bottom of the Ninth” infused toffee, Dr. Norm’s Chocolate Chip Therapy 5mg Cookies, and plenty of Nor Cal’s Humboldt Brothers’ Chem Haze flowers. In addition to the dank fine dining, guests were invited to experience complimentary massages with Mary’s Medicinals Elite CBD Muscle Freeze oil, a vape station from INDVR, candy from Mind Tricks, and a blunt rolling station courtesy of Dutch Masters, featuring hand rolled masterpieces stuffed full of Humboldt Bro’s Strawberry Jack and Fire OG. And of course, what would be a dinner party without the one and only DJ Snoopadelic behind the decks? To balance out the mind-altering effects

Teck-Zilla feat. Phlow – Go Hard (Bigger Than A Monster) [Video]

It’s a celebration of Hip-Hop culture in the energetic video for “Go Hard,” the brand-new single from Montreal-based producer Teck-Zilla and his frequent collaborator, the inimitable Phlow. These two Str8Buttah artists have been dropping some serious heat over the past several years, and their work together only seems to get stronger with each subsequent release. Not only that, but they’re capable of switching up their styles while retaining what makes their music so damn dope in the first place: unquestionable talent paired with distinctive style. It’s all on display in the “Go Hard” video shot by themythcreate, and edited by fellow Str8Buttah TV member Rcube, who blends visuals that were shot on location in Lagos, Nigeria during this year’s RedBull-sponsored “Battle Of The Year” for breakdancers. As the b-boys kill it on stage, Phlow flaunts her skills on the mic over Teck’s boisterous production that features a crazy flip on the chorus. As for what’s next from these two, Teck is currently working on new projects as he plans for an upcoming excursion in Ibiza, alongside South African DJ Black Coffee (who produced Drake’s “Get It Together”). Phlow is back at work on her official debut album, ‘Flux,’ after recently serving as a judge for the 2017 Hennessy VS Class rap auditions. Check out the visuals, and head over to HYPEDDIT for the au-gratis download of “Go Hard,” courtesy of Str8Buttah Productions.

Torii Wolf – Flow Riiot [Album Stream]

Torii Wolf hits us with her debut album, “Flow Riiot”. Enter Torii Wolf, a singer/songwriter from Wantagh, New York who traded coasts-bouncing around West Coast cities and in doing so enhanced herself artistically; shunning categories, genres, confinement and convention. “Torii has such a weird, wicked style” Premier offers. “It’s just very left field-reminiscent of Bjork. She is just very unique and versatile; she writes, sings, is an accomplished guitarist and drummer. But image wise, there are no comparisons. Subject matter wise, Torii is in a whole different place. Torii is truly one of a kind.” The diversity of the subject matter that Premier touched on is a staple ingredient on Flow Riiot. The anthemic lead-single “Free” featuring Macklemore tackles the battle we face every day to be our authentic selves. Torii’s heart pumps cold and warns of impending doom over a virtual digital symphony and scratch chorus from Preem on “Big Big Trouble.” Conversely, Torii professes her undying love on “I’d Wait Forever And A Day” as Preem recruits his The Badder Band to add lush instrumentation for a sultry big band ballad that Torii’s voice longingly soars over. The stirring Mike Zombie (of Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” & OVO fame) produced “Pain Killer” is the audio equivalent of an opioid, replete with Torii’s pleas to euthanize her anguish, yet so ultimately stimulating it creates a high you can’t stop craving. “Flow Riiot” crescendos with an omnipresent vibe, as Premier creates a diverse palette that exquisitely accentuates Torii’s vast
