Long Island emcee Typ-iLL delivers the third offering from his upcoming ‘Veterans Day’ album with “Dog Tags & Duffle Bags,” a personal effort over Statik Selektah production that details the Army veteran’s real-life experiences as a soldier.

“This track is who I was for nearly six years,” TYP says of the Veterans Day track. “The experiences I had as a soldier were beyond compare, and I will never forget or regret the choices I made.” He adds that this is his “ode to all the combat veterans out there,” so if you’ve been through anything similar, know someone who has, and wondered what it’s like, it’s time to listen up.
