Typ-iLL – Let ‘Em Talk [Video]
Typ-iLL returns to standout single “Let ‘Em Talk” for the debut visuals from his fantastic new album, “Veterans Day”, produced entirely by Statik Selektah.
The video, which Typ played a large role in producing, was both directed and edited by Hostage Media, who balance the Long Island rapper’s rapidfire flow with equal doses of quickpanning shots and slowmotion scenes. The latter helps to drive home the song’s message of not worrying about what others are saying about you, because more often than not, they’re just jealous of your success.
Few people can claim to know that feeling better than Typ, who returned home after several tours of duty defending his country, to experience firsthand, the petty minded haters that would try to throw shade towards his movement. But as he says on the track, giving those clowns lip service is exactly what they want—“So let ‘em talk, it’s only breath.”
