Sonnymoon – Grain Of Friends [Stream]

@Sonnymoonmusic are Brooklyn duo Anna Wise and Dane Orr, the dream team who have quietly been releasing albums and sharing stages with the likes of The Roots and Flying Lotus. You might recognise Anna from Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-nominated Good Kid, m.A.A.d city and should definitely listen out for her on his new album To Pimp A Butterfly – she features on several tracks including Institutionalized alongside Bilal and Snoop Dogg and These Walls with Thundercat. Taken from their forthcoming third album, The Courage of Present Times (due for release via @GLOW365 on 24th March) we are pleased to present the premiere of Sonnymoon’s next single. Grains Of Friends is full of @Dirty-Projectors style vocals that dance over a series of clicks, claps, muffled basslines and field recordings that take us back to summertime playtimes. It’s time to move to the groove.
