Read moreEmerging songwriter PJ recently sat down with VladTV and opened up about writing the hook to Chris Brown’s “Bitches N Marijuana.” The soulful writer details working with Chris Brown to create the hook, saying she wrote it from a male perspective and his final version is almost exactly the same as the version she created, with their voices and a few words being the only real difference. After singing her rendition of the hook for the track, PJ speaks more about songwriting. She credits B.o.B. and Meek Mill for influencing her to write from the male perspective. Although a novice when writing for men, PJ just “imagines what guys would say.” That imagination and creativity are serving her well. Check out the full clip to see everything she has to say.

These two may have street smarts that guided them through their respective youths in New Orleans and Northeast Ohio, but that doesn’t mean they know how to do things like start a fire or cook food without the help of modern appliances. Well, a man’s gotta learn how to be a man sometime, so with the help of a bonafide outdoors specialist—a cat who would put both Crocodile Dundee and MacGyver to shame—Curren$y and Stalley are gonna try their damnedest to conquer the woods.
