Having debuted on Entertainment Weekly yesterday, fans will be hype to hear new music from the trio of cloud-rap pioneers, who released their collaborative mixtape in the 4th quarter of last year. On this forthcoming loose single, “Alphabet City,” MA’s Mondre M.A.N. harmonizes on the opening bars, as he, Squadda B, and Tynethys spit a series of spaced-out rhymes atop production guided by a saw-synth fluctuating between octaves and a periodically slapping 808. “I don’t pay for shit, I wonder why/ Mack game on a bitch, only the strong survive,” raps Sacramento’s Tynethys, before admitting he’s lifted “off three blunts” and “on dab four.”
