VIBE caught up with Pusha T on the set of his latest music video “Trust You” featuring Kevin Gates. While on location at a penthouse in the Hollywood hills, Pusha discussed the concept for the video, what fans can expect on his upcoming My Name Is My Name studio debut, and the next Clipse album.
“My new album My Name Is My Name, I’m basically just expecting to give my fans another perspective of myself,” Pusha says, promising a more conscious side of him for the LP. When it came to his work with Clipse, it was always his brother Malice who took the reflective route while, Pusha delivered brash wordplay. While the brothers are doing it alone for a minute, the idea of them reuniting for another Clipse album has been tossed around. “It’s been talked about … with myself, my brother, Pharrell, Kanye even,” mentions Pusha. “I dont want to speak too much about it, but I’m looking forward to it.”
