A Chat With T.I. [Video]

When you think of Southern Hip-Hop OG’s, T.I. is certainly one who comes to mind. Dubbing himself as ‘The King of The South’ on top of being in the game for over 12 years, Tip is getting ready to drop his 8th album “Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head” on December 18th and has prepared it to be what he feels is his best work to date. This past Friday I was invited to T.I.’s private listening session in Miami where the ‘kang’ himself played more than half of the tracks on the album, excluding a few we’ve already had in our iTunes. I’d like to go on the record to say that from what I heard, fans will be satisfied with this body of work. I even recall him stating during the session that if he wanted to put out an album 6 months ago he could have, but he wanted to take his time with this to prove all the critics wrong who felt he was falling off – and he might’ve done just that.
