Rapsody – Please Don’t Cry [Album Stream]

Nearly five years have passed since Rapsody’s last studio album, “EVE“, before she recently unveiled her fourth studio album, “Please Don’t Cry”.

“People had to put up a mirror for me,” she told Apple Music’s Ebro Darden. “He [producer No ID] was like, ‘Everybody knows you can rap, but I can’t tell you five things that I know about you.’” That conversation would plant the seeds for what may be her most personal work to date.

Comprising 22 tracks, “Please Don’t Cry” is spearheaded by the previously released singles “Asteroids”, “Stand Tall”, and “3:AM”. Collaborators such as Hit-Boy, Erykah Badu, Nicole Bus, Lil Wayne, Baby Tate, and actress Phylicia Rashad, among others, lend their talents to the album.
