Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro – TNT [Video Medley]

Big Twins has been putting in work since the release of ‘TNT,’ his super-grimy collaborative album with Los Angeles producer Twiz The Beat Pro. And today, the Queensbridge, N.Y. native is showing off his foreign exploits as he travels across Lausanne, Switzerland in his brand-new video medley. Director Sha Tussle, of Hostage Media who also shot Twins’ previously released video for “Rap Star,” (featuring Prodigy), reunites with the Queensbridge spitter to shoot a number of locations in the French-speaking Swiss city. Those include a packed venue where Twins rocks the stage, which is a familiar setting given that he’s been performing throughout Europe these past few months. Big Twins also stunts on the historic cobblestone streets and spits his bars in tagged-up back alleys. During the medley, he shares select pieces of ‘TNT’ standouts “Cola Cash Stank,” “Bobby Flay (feat. Ras Kass),” and “Straight Face (feat. Killer Ben).” There’s also a snippet in the intro of a non-album joint, “Last Man Standing (feat. Planet Asia),” which was released this summer. And if we’re lucky, it’ll end up on another project from Twins and Twiz, because the world deserves a ‘TNT’ sequel. Check out the visuals, and be sure to support Twins and Twiz’s ‘TNT’ LP which is now available for stream and download through all major platforms and digital retailers, via Sound Unity Entertainment.

Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro feat. Prodigy – Rotten Apple [Video]

With Queensbridge rap heavyweights Big Twins and Prodigy as your guides, get ready for a tour of the city that never sleeps in the visuals for “Rotten Apple,” directed by Fahargo Filmz. Similar to Twins’ previously released visuals for “Rap Star,” this track also stems from his exalted LP, ‘TNT,’ with producer Twiz The Beat Pro. And its Pro’s instrumental that helps make “Rotten Apple” especially filthy, because he flips a wailing “New York!” vocal sample amidst lounge-y piano keys, laid-back guitars, and head-nodding drums. As you might expect, “Rotten Apple” also makes for the perfect soundtrack for Twins and Prodigy’s aforementioned jaunt through NYC. They post up on a rooftop and hit the streets while the Fahargo Filmz crew splices in footage of what makes the city so unique (the people and the culture, of course). Thankfully, they left out anything too literal from Twins’ line of “Millions of people, but probably got more rats.” Check out the visuals and be sure to support Twins and Twiz’s ‘TNT’ LP, which is now available through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via Sound Unity Entertainment.

Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro – Rap Star [Video]

Queensbridge, N.Y. bruiser Big Twins heads back to his stomping grounds in the stylish new video for “Rap Star,” another standout joint off his stellar ‘TNT’ album with Los Angeles producer, Twiz The Beat Pro. Watching “Rap Star” provides some visual insight into where Twins is coming from, something he points out from the jump when he spits that he’s “born and raised in 41-16” over Twiz’s dark, piano-fueled instrumental. Twins also admits to taking a break from from NYC to get his “mind and his vision right,” which led him to residing in different spots (L.A. most recently) and touring the globe. Of course, this was all part of his journey to reach his goal of becoming a “Rap Star,” which he details in between speaking with the youth and flexing in front of some ill graffiti. The video was directed by the Hostage Media crew, whose past work includes collaborations with Cormega, Cam’ron, and Rick Ross. And given that their slogan is “It’s not what u shoot, it’s how u edit,” it’s only right that their words come to life here. Otherwise typical scenario become vibrant and almost psychedelic through the use of shape-shifting edits and effects. Peep the visuals, and then go ahead and support the duo’s ’TNT’ LP, which is now available for stream and download through all major platforms and digital retailers, via Sound Unity Entertainment.

Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro – TNT [Album Stream]

‘TNT’ is the raw, grimy, and honest new collaborative album from Infamous Mobb rapper Big Twins and Los Angeles producer Twiz The Beat Pro, who together form ‘TNT.’ It’s a fitting title given the explosive nature of their album, which slaps listeners upside the head immediately with the grimy, Ras Kass-featured opener, “Bobby Flay.” From there, Twins and Twiz explore various soundscapes and themes, including the darker parts of the gangster life (“Paranoid”), what it’s like to survive in New York (“The Rotten Apple”), and phony rappers making false claims about their come-up (“Take Away The Lies”). The album also features a noteworthy guest lineup, which includes Ras Kass, Gibby, Prodigy, Tri-State, Killer Ben, Godfather Pt. III (of Infamous Mobb), Evidence, Alchemist, Co$$, and LMNO. They’re all fitting complements to both elements of TNT: Twins’ no-bullsh*t, gruff raps and Twiz’s intricate sample flips and hard-hitting drums. Together, they’ve made one of the toughest albums of the year. ‘TNT’ is now available for download through all digital retailers, and wherever music can be streamed, via Sound Unity Entertainment, an independent label based in Los Angeles and headed by DJ B.Original.

Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro feat. Alchemist & Evidence – Take Away The Lies [Audio]

In between the tough talk and bravado on “Take Away The Lies,” there’s a heavy truth within the rhymes of Big Twins and his guests, The Alchemist and Evidence (aka Step Brothers)—authenticity over everything. It’s a concept that’s never sounded quite this good, and you have Twiz The Beat Pro’s hissing, chipmunked production to thank for that. When you consider that everyone on this track has worked together in varying capacities over the years, it comes as no surprise that “Take Away The Lies” is such a success. Twins, Alchemist, and Evidence (in that order) murder their verses as they reveal the truth behind the lies of so many. That goes for rappers with phony backstories, cities that have been gentrified (Ev in particular shouts out his ‘hood), and anyone catchin’ feelings from their bars. “Take Away The Lies” is the final single off Twins and Twiz’s forthcoming collaborative album, ‘TNT,’ which drops next Friday, April 1st, via Sound Unity Entertainment.

Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro feat. Prodigy – The Rotten Apple [Audio]

Plenty of New York rappers have offered a lyrical tour of their city, but few have done it so potently as Big Twins and Prodigy on “The Rotten Apple”. As the title implies, it isn’t some glitzy, high-brow view of this particular concrete jungle. But there’s a certain pride to overcoming the seedy, grotesque elements of a place that “forces the best out of you or forces you to fold up.” The track serves as the second single off Big Twins’ joint album with L.A. producer Twiz The Beat Pro, who provides a fittingly filthy instrumental for his rapping counterparts. Beyond the beat, the grit of “The Rotten Apple” comes through in lines like “We got any drug you could ever want/ And we start the drama before you ni**as front” from Twins. Not to be outdone is his guest, fellow Queensbridge native Prodigy, who compares himself to horror legend Freddy Krueger: “P. Krueger/ who’ll stalk you in your sleep like Freddy/ Plus I see you in real life, your legs turn spaghetti.” This is NYC rap through and through. And if you’re feeling “The Rotten Apple”, keep an eye out for Twins and Twiz’s album, “TNT“. It drops April 1st, via Sound Unity Entertainment.

Big Twins & Twiz The Beat Pro feat. Killer Ben – Straight Face [Audio]

The Queensbridge-to-Los Angeles connection of TNT (rapper Big Twins and producer Twiz The Beat Pro) go straight for the throat with “Straight Face,” the raw lead single off their upcoming collaborative album, ‘TNT.’ Twiz sets the tone with exactly the type of instrumental that Twins’ voice deserves: a grimy and unhinged backdrop built on heavy drums and a looping sample. It’s perfect for the Infamous Mobb member, who takes Internet rappers to task for their hollow rhymes while recognizing his own efforts (“I love a happy ending I can see it now/ Record sold out, I control the crowd”). He then passes the mic to his guest, Killer Ben of Durag Dynasty, whose verse is as snarling as his host’s. Ben blends ridiculous wordplay with a hilarious explanation of how his lyrics remain so on point (f*ck a life coach, right?) before the quick-hitting track fades out—and you’re left hitting the replay button. “Straight Face” is now available for download off the iTunes’ pre-order for ‘TNT,’ which is due out April 1st via Sound Unity Entertainment, an independent label based in L.A. and headed by DJ B.Original…keep your eyes and ears open!
