Trek Life – We Good [DJ Pack]

West Coast mic monster Trek Life and his beatmaking partner in crime Duke Westlake are back with a summer time jam everyone can relate to – We Good (feat. Oddisee, Belvi, Funklogik). To get everyone in on things, Trek included the clean version, the instrumental, and the acapella for all the DJs out there. Trek Life – Hometown Heroes (Mixed By DJ Rhettmatic of The Beat Junkies) [Mixtape]

Trek Life’s new album with Duke Westlake “Hometown Foreigner” is out everywhere now, but we wanted to take a moment for people to hear the mixtape DJ Rhettmatic of the world famous Beat Junkies put together featuring some of Trek’s greatest moments. The mixtape (playing off the album title Hometown Foriegner) is called “Hometown Heroes” and was originally released only as an actual mixTAPE. We pressed it on limited edition cassette, then Rhettmatic himself promoted the tape at SXSW this year. The original tape version is also available for free when you pick up the new album on CD. But for people today, we wanted everyone to have a chance to hear the magic with a free download. The mixtape features Oddisee and Exile among others, as well as production from Evidence, DJ Babu, Duke Westlake, and more, and of course cuts and mixing by DJ Rhettmatic. Trek Life feat. Hawdwerk & Bishop Lamont – Rap Time [Audio x Download]

Today Trek Life released his third official album titled “Hometown Foreigner“. The new project is as unassuming as the veteran emcee’s demeanor in real life, yet as worthy of praise as any album in the West. The project centers around Trek’s place today as a man, being in the center of so much (California can do that) and yet feeling just outside – the hometown foreigner. The album’s tracks are a fresh perspective on Hip-Hop themes including an examination of Hip-Hop values, the love of music, being a street casualty, and of course, living in the middle of it all and still being on the edge. Produced entirely by up and coming producer Duke Westlake, the record also features Oddisee, yU, Belvi, FunkLogik, DJ Buddy, Hawdwerk, GMK, Bishop Lamont, Hezekiah, Sean Wyze, and Richard Wright. Duke also mixed and mastered the album, showcasing just how talented he is in the realm of music. Rap Time (feat. Hawdwerk & Bishop Lamont) by Trek Life
