There hasn’t been too much talk around HXLT since signing to G.O.O.D. Music, who like other members Kacy Hill and Ryan McDermott, haven’t been thrown into the limelight by Kanye West. But still, the Chicago artist and Treated Crew member is getting ready to drop his self-titled debut album on Friday, which you can stream right now in advance. The project consists of 12 tracks with a feature from Kathleen Hanna, with production handled by HXLT except from an assist from Mano. via OS

After signing to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label back in March, Chicago based artist/producer HXLT drops off the first single/visual off his upcomimg debut project. And while Kanye’s label boasts rappers like Pusha T, Big Sean and Q-Tip, the album is not expected to be a pure rap project; Holt’s manager told Billboard at the time of his signing that “it’s like if Joy Division, The Strokes and Dr. Dre made an album.”
