Danny Brown and Araabmuzik head to the studio for their first official collaboration presented to you by Yours Truly and adidas Originals. Meeting on a Friday in May, the pair holed up in Burbank’s Encore Studios to write and record “Molly Ringwald” — from scratch. The song will be released next month by Yours Truly as a AA-side single on 7″ vinyl via its Love Letters Ink imprint, with Joey Bada$$’s “Daily Routine” on the flip side. “Molly Ringwald” will also be available for download starting July 17.

A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to roll (in a limo) and interview with AraabMuzik. We discuss his beat making and how he decides when a beat is complete. Him and Joe Budden were rumored to be doing a mixtape over the summer. Araab gives us an update on the progress of it. Then, we discuss the work he did with 50 Cent (played me a snippet, dope!), Eminem, Fabolous and Big Sean as well as artists he wants to work with that he hasn’t worked with yet.
