In 2020, we continue seeing the lives of black men devalued in the Untied States whether disproportionately contracting COVID-19, victims of police harassment & brutality, and weaponized by the media. So with this song, I just wanted to create an uplifting ode to the important men in my life and give them their flowers while they could still smell them.
