Fr1th – The Loneliest Monk [Audio]

South London producer and musician Fr1th returns with “The Loneliest Monk”.

“Inspired by the great Thelonious Monk, this track had the drums recorded and processed through the SP – 505 drum machine to give it that lo-fi sound. Inspired by Nas’ ‘Illmatic’, the repeating guitar note allows for the beat to play off each other. This is layered with a melody and chord progression inspired by Thelonious Monk.” – Fr1th

Taken from his forthcoming album “Mind Blossom” (June 14), a 13 track album displaying his creative output of over two years. It draws on influences as wide as J Dilla to Ludovico Einaudi. A blend of piano beats based production that spans true Lo-Fi, Chill, Ambient, Electronic, Jazz and Hip Hop. Hypnotic head-nodding rhythms from this brilliant debut.

Till then, listen to “The Loneliest Monk” below.
