Slum Village – F.U.N. [Album Stream]

Slum Village, with T3 and Young RJ at the helm, has released a fresh album called “F.U.N.”.

Despite early changes in its lineup, founding members T3 and Young RJ have upheld the hip-hop group’s legacy. Their latest project adds to their extensive catalog, marking the group’s first album in nearly a decade since the 2015 release, “Yes!“.

While rooted in hip-hop, the album incorporates elements of disco and jazz, blending classic and contemporary sounds. Notably, it features a diverse range of collaborators including Robert Glasper, Cordae, Eric Roberson, Larry June, Sango, and more. With a runtime of almost 32 minutes, the album comprises 12 tracks.

T3 expressed, “Slum is still here. We’re still relevant and we’re still trying to push the envelope… Sometimes people put too many rules on music, and without sounding cliche, we wanted to just have fun with [this album],” said T3. “So, in three words: Fuck U N***as.”
