A key figure in the NYC rap resurgence of the early 2010s, Chuck Strangers, now based in LA, emerges with his new solo album, “A Forsaken Lover’s Plea”, showcasing his talents as both a rapper and producer.
The album exudes a rich sonic texture, with candid lyrics supported by an array of guest producers including The Alchemist, Animoss, and Strangers himself. Chuck’s production maintains a contemporary edge while retaining its inherent warmth, seamlessly complementing his heartfelt, introspective verses.
The 17-track LP features guest appearances from notable figures in the New York rap scene, including Joey Bada$$, Erick the Architect of Flatbush Zombies, and Remy Banks from Queens.
