M-Dot feat. Grand Puba – Run Along [Video]

Boston-based rapper M-Dot collaborates with legendary emcee Grand Puba from Brand Nubian on his newest track “Run Along”.

In this track, both influential rappers exchange sharp, truth-filled verses over powerful beats by The Mighty V.I.C. (known for his work with Big Pun, Kool G Rap, Joell Ortiz), complemented by cuts from Dom2er and DJ 7L (from Czarface). The mastering was handled by the esteemed engineer Eddie Sancho (credited with works for Jay-Z, Nas, Gang Starr). The accompanying video, edited by Victor Keys, pays homage to the nostalgia of the “NBA Jam” era, enhancing the track’s traditional sound.

This single is extracted from the forthcoming album “Daze Of Greed”, set to release on March 8th, and currently open for pre-order on Bandcamp. The album boasts production from M-Phazes, Vinny Idol, 88 Keys, Apollo Brown, The Mighty V.I.C., and features guest appearances from Big Shug (of Gang Starr Foundation), Estee Nack (from Griselda), Grand Puba (of Brand Nubian), Ty Farris, and M-Dot’s EMS crew.
