M-Dot feat. Revalation – You And You [Video]
Boston’s M-Dot kicks off the new year just as he concluded the previous one—unveiling a fresh music video.
In this instance, he collaborates with his longstanding EMS comrade Revalation for “You and You”, a production by Grammy Award-Winning producer M-Phazes (known for his work with Eminem, Logic, Madonna, Demi Lovato, and more). The song showcases both emcees exchanging clever verses against an animated backdrop, skillfully incorporating wordplay centered around the theme of “you”. The result is a lively track complemented by additional vocals from Kore (of EMS) on the chorus and scratches by the frequent collaborator Lp2 from France.
Director Rayymond skillfully captures a comedic portrayal of M-Dot and Rev as “dirty cops” with a playful “Starsky & Hutch” vibe. This single provides a sneak peek into M-Dot’s forthcoming album, “Daze of Greed”, with the release date to be announced soon.
