Dreamville rapper Bas returns with album number four, titled “We Only Talk About Real Shit When We’re F****d Up”.

Marking Bas’ first new LP since 2018’s “Milky Way”, the thoughtful title of this album aims to emphasize dual perspectives on a shared theme. On one hand, it underscores the societal challenge of addressing sensitive subjects without relying on substances (as seen in “Ho Chi Minh”). On the other hand, it delves into society’s indifference toward challenging circumstances until they escalate to critical levels (explored in tracks like “Khartoum” and “Decent”).
