Danny Brown – Quaranta [Album Stream]

Detroit emcee Danny Brown is back at it with the release of his sixth studio album, “Quaranta”.

Emerging as both the spiritual conclusion to his breakthrough album “XXX” and a contemplative sequel to the tumultuous collaborative work “Scaring The Hoes” with JPEGMAFIA earlier this year, “Quaranta” provides fresh perspectives into the internal reflections of an artist who has captivated fans for more than a decade.

Having embraced sobriety, Brown unveils a more reflective, deliberate, and restrained facet of his persona in this intimate and autobiographical endeavor. Crafted during the COVID-19 lockdown, the project took shape while he secluded himself in downtown Detroit.

“There wasn’t too much to do, so it was the best thing for me to do,” Brown says, “to put everything I was going through into the music. A lot of people make concept albums, but the concept is my life.”

Featuring 11 tracks, among them “Jenn’s Terrific Vacation” and the Alchemist-produced “Tantor”, the album showcases collaborations with SKYWLKR, Quelle Chris, Paul White, and the talented members of the Bruiser Brigade crew.

Hit play and make sure to include “Quaranta” in your music library.
