Terrace Martin & Alex Isley – I Left My Heart In Ladera [EP]
Terrace Martin and the soulful vocalist Alex Isley have unveiled their collaborative project, “I Left My Heart In Ladera”.
The EP comprises a total of nine tracks, one of which is a rendition of Sade’s timeless 1988 classic, “Paradise”. This song has been chosen as the official lead single for the joint release.
One of the standout tunes is “2 Step In The Living Room”, an essential addition to any playlist celebrating Black love. In this song, Isley expresses her desire to revisit simpler times with her partner, a period when their love was unwavering and their worries were minimal.
Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Robert Glasper and pianist Paul Cornish make guest appearances on “I Left My Heart In Ladera”. Glasper can be heard on the groove-infused jazz title track, while Cornish contributes a rich piano performance to the soothing “La Brea & Stocker”.
