Through this compilation of unique compositions, Mello Music Group extends an invitation to fully grasp the concept of Omakase (o·ma·ka·se). The Mello compilation series initially emerged as a platform for label head Mello to directly collaborate with artists, delving into novel sounds, partnerships, and musical trends. Omakase stands as the most recent addition to this series, meticulously crafted over the preceding two years. It showcases the label’s progression, broadening its original foundation of Hip-Hop enriched by elements of Jazz, Soul, R&B, and Funk. These immediate influences are wholeheartedly embraced.
