Post Malone’s fifth album, “Austin”, has finally arrived after weeks of eager anticipation.
In contrast to his previous albums, Post Malone’s fifth release, adopts a notably minimalist promotion strategy and veers away from the typical hip-hop production style we’ve come to associate with him. The lead singles, “Chemical” and “Mourning”, haven’t made a significant impact on the charts thus far. However, the buzz track “Overdrive” stands out as a clear highlight.
Comprising a total of 17 tracks, the album fully embraces a pop sound and notably lacks any guest appearances. In a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Posty revealed that his influences for this project include iconic artists such as Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac, and Stevie Wonder.
