Mac Miller’s estate commemorates the ten-year anniversary of the late rapper’s album, “Watching Movies With The Sound Off”, with a celebration.

In honor of the album’s 10th anniversary, we delve back into the second studio album by the late Pittsburgh rapper, including its deluxe bonus tracks. The commemorative edition features an exclusive unreleased track called “The Star Room (OG Version)”, which presents an alternate beat and a spoken-word interlude by the producer of the song, Earl Sweatshirt.

On June 18, 2013, “Watching Movies With The Sound Off”, a 16-track album, was released. The album included notable singles such as “S.D.S.” and “Watching Movies” and featured collaborations with artists like Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, and others. Debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 charts, the album received critical acclaim from reviewers. Additionally, Miller released a deluxe version of the LP, which added three bonus tracks, including the single “Goosebumpz” and a collaboration with Tyler, The Creator.

In 2018, Mac Miller tragically passed away at the young age of 26 due to an accidental drug overdose. Following his untimely death, the two individuals who supplied the rapper with fentanyl-laced pills were sentenced to prison for their involvement in Miller’s demise. Rest in peace, Malcolm.
