“I became a mother this year, and it’s been the most transformative, uplifting, heart melting, strength giving experience thus far that led me to write this album. God’s got jokes and was like, ‘Now you guys create and have fun,’ so we did. Mother was born, and truly it was a beautiful, growing experience.
