J. Period – The Rise Up Project [Album Stream]

Following up last year’s “The Live Mixtape“, Brooklyn’s J. Period returns today with a new project titled “Rise Up”.

“For two years, we’ve been on a mission to bring artists together across the country to inspire all-star collaborations, dynamic performances, and honest conversations… through music,” Period says. “Today, we raise the bar.”

“Rise Up” is made up of 10 tracks and comes equipped with features from Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Xzibit, Rhymefest, Posdnuos, dead prez, Aloe Blacc, Dayne Jordan and more. Take a listen below.
