SUPER… w/ Adrian Younge [Video]

Adrian Younge is a smooth, dapper cat. In this installment of SUPER…, Younge benevolently fights as The Black Human for the right to err while keeping his Italian custom suit and handmade shoes immaculate.

Younge staunchly believes our inherent imperfection as individuals is integral to any type of art, but particularly music. So anything that doesn’t feel organic musically, and anyone who looks down upon sampling as an inferior form of creation is going to get molliwhopped. His lair, The Black Human Cave, is pitch black, and adorned with vinyls of those he recognizes as other musical heroes, including Portishead, Ennio Morricone, and Curtis Mayfield, among others. As expected, Younge would be cruising in style in a ’60s Rolls-Royce to get away from his analog keyboards and tape machines and look for those inorganic, condescending muhfuckas to bust up.
