Kurupt: “B.I.G. & N.W.A. Biopics Are Equally Great” [Video]

Kurupt spoke to VladTV about his thoughts on the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton, which the West Coast emcee said was the first movie to accurately tell the story about hip-hop since Krush Groove. He also shared his favorite part during the NWA film, which was when Ice Cube put out his diss track “No Vaseline” after leaving Ruthless Records. During the conversation Kurupt was asked about his thoughts on the B.I.G. biopic Notorious and how it compared to the NWA movie, and Kurupt felt that both were great in their own right. The Biggie movie has been panned by some hip-hop fans and critics, but Kurupt said that the message in the movie was believable and he felt that the film told a great story.
