Scarface Gives J. Prince 90% Credit For Geto Boys’ Early Music [Video]

Legendary rapper Scarface “was pretty deep” in the street life when the Geto Boys came out with their debut album, 1988’s Making Trouble. In this exclusive clip, the Houston lyricist reflects back on the group’s early days, and thanks Rap-A-Lot Records CEO James Prince for the guys’ success. “I give him 90% of the credit of all of the material that came out of the early Geto Boys s***, because that s** was his mind. I just rapped that s***,” Scarface tells us. The seasoned artist then goes on to talk about J. Prince’s dealings with Drake and Diddy. Scarface says he didn’t recognize the man that threatened Diddy after his altercation with Drizzy, summing it all up to J. Prince simply “getting old.”
