Curren$y Talks “Canal Street Confidential” [Video]

Curren$y was in a great mood when we caught up with him at Atlantic Records HQ a few weeks back. He had just wrapped up a meeting with the suits, playing tracks from his new album, “Canal Street Confidential”; and let’s just say it went well. Spitta’s not one to play industry games, but the way he tells it, the record-label execs were nodding their heads so hard their necks were about to break. And with joints like “Bottom of the Bottle” featuring fellow New Orleans artists August Alsina and Lil Wayne, it’s no surprise they were feeling the vibe. Spitta took a few minutes to give us a play by play of the meeting, and explained how the first single from “Canal Street Confidential” came together.
