Troy Ave Talks Staying On The Independent Route And The Success Of “Doo Doo” [Video]

Troy Ave kicked it with AHH this week and let us know why he’s major without a deal. Troy has decided to stay on the indie route for the start of his career instead of signing to a major. One would think it would be pressure on an artist with no major to try and resurrect the music scene of his home region. Especially NYC since its a never ending debate about how New York hip hop is dead. Currently the record “Doo doo” has been picking up popularity. When asked about the success of it he said “we independent so it aint nothing that we doing that you can predict..i dont really have expectations I just put my best foot forward. Troy ave’s independent album “Major Without A Deal” is coming this summer 2015.
