The rapper says he’s battled other rappers since the 90’s during a time when freestyles were weren’t pre-recorded or written. Crusher says he longs for the culture to get back to basics because the sincerity and essence of battling and freestyle are gone because of the sensationalism in the genre. The rapper says he loves to freestyle and his biggest hit, “Never Scared” was freestyled. He also mentions his new album The Pulse and how he was able to record the entire album without watering down his lyrics with profanity.
