Recently, HHS1987 caught up with Hip-Hop legends 8 Ball and MJG during the 2014 A3C festival to discuss their career, the important of A3C, their new project “Timeless”, Memphis’ hip-hop culture and much more. With 8 Ball and MJG in town to perform during A3C’s Pimp C tribute, 8Ball & MJG sat down to discuss their longevity in rap and how it has shaped their career. Having been in the game for over 20 years, 8 Ball and MJQ spoke on the evolution of hip-hop in the south and how their music helped shift a change in hip-hop and helped the South earn the respect of rappers across the nation. 8Ball & MJG also took a moment to discuss A3C and the importance of the event for artist. With A3C celebrating their tenth year anniversary, 8Ball and MJG discussed how the event helps artist not only showcase their talent but also learn the business side of the industry. Remy Ma On How Papoose Rode For Her While She Was Locked Up [Video]

Remy Ma recently sat down with VladTV correspondent Jenny Boom Boom and discussed her relationship with husband Papoose, saying that he was there for her through the roughest time of her life. She also reveals that even if they weren’t married and were just friends, he’s the kind of person that would be there for her, and is like that with everyone he loves. When asked about their trailer visits, Remy says they were every 6 weeks and they were allowed two days to do whatever they needed to. They would often talk about personal issues that they didn’t feel comfortable discussing over the monitored phone and of course, got it in whenever possible.

Ab-Soul Talks Dating Model Yaris Sanchez & High Weed Tolerance [Video]

TDE’s Ab-Soul sat down with VladTV correspondent Jenny Boom Boom and briefly discussed dating curvy model Yaris Sanchez, a new movie he has in the works, and how he is able to function while smoking so much weed. Soul admits that he’s definitely in love with girlfriend Yaris Sanchez, yet is careful to not reveal too much about their relationship, as they are both public figures whose business is already out there so much already. He feels it’s important to respect their relationship by keeping some things under wraps. The “Terrorist Threats” spitter also dropped the news that he will be releasing a movie based on his upcoming tour, but can’t say anymore than that for now. Jenny then asks how he is able to function so well while being high so much, with Soul responding he chooses to be on point at all times, so it isn’t an issue. He also admits to having a high tolerance, so he’s able to function far better than someone who doesn’t smoke often. Check out the interview above.

DeJ Loaf: “I Know People Think I’m A Lesbian, But I’m Not” [Video]

Dej Loaf sat down with VladTV and addressed rumors surrounding her sexuality, saying she knows a lot of onlookers think she’s a lesbian because she wears loose clothing. However, she tweeted that she isn’t gay, she just prefers to wear comfortable clothing. She then discusses her crew, IBGM, which stands for I Been Gettin Money. The Detroit native says IBGM is more about a mindstate than anything else and being willing to share the wealth they’ve acquired over time. After the jump DeJ Loaf talks being starstruck after meeting Jay-Z and Beyonce.
