Mississippi’s self-proclaimed “King Remembered In Time” chops it up with HNHH for an exclusive interview about his new headlining tour and his new album Cadillactica. Cadillactica, K.R.I.T. reveals, is a concept album about how the Cadillac pictured on the album cover of his last major release, Live From The Underground, crash landed on planet Earth. The vehicle, he explains, comes from the planet Cadillactica, a place formed entirely within the emcee’s imagination. He hopes the new album will take listeners on a journey through that unexplored territory. Additional topics include: K.R.I.T.’s upcoming collaboration with Raphael Saadiq; the concept behind “King Of The South”; and how See Me On Top 4 is related to the new album.

Rittz Talks Top 5 Rappers, Craziest Yelawolf Story, Liking Auto-Tune & More [Video]

Radio personality Justin D Live sat down with Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins to talk about the following: On Next to Nothing album, Rittz address many personal issues. Specifically on the “Basket Case” record, the Atlanta native deals with the double edge sword that is success and questions the motives of his “rap friends”. Rittz talks about his fans being inspired by his story and how he has to remind them that his success may have had a lot to do with luck. “So many people look at me as the spokesman. Like, “Rittz man. Since you did it i’m going to quit my job and do it (become a rapper) too.” — Everybody can’t do this. I got lucky.” After clarifying the difference between his personal favorite rappers and who he thinks are the “Top 5 Rappers” in the game right now. Rittz was a bit hesitant to share his list due to the fact that his fans are “Anti anything”. “We going (Top 5) in the game right now? Cause, these aren’t my (personal) top 5 favorite rappers. My fans are going to hate this shit cause my fans are anti anything. I think Drake, Kanye, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, & Rick Ross.”

Wu-Tang Clan On Scrapped “Wu-Tang Forever” Remix [Video]
