Alchemist: “I Was There When Prodigy Caught Gun Charge” [Video]

One of Hip-Hop’s most respected producers, The Alchemist sat down with VladTV to briefly recount what it was like riding around with Queens MC Prodigy when he was caught with a gun in his vehicle, saying it was a horrible situation, but honestly he knew of Mobb Deep doing far worse things and was surprised that that was the reason P ultimately got locked up. He also says when he went in for questioning, the cops tried to get any kind of information out of him that they could; however, he knew the deal already so it wasn’t a thing to simply mind his business and make beats.
