In the midst of helping lend a hand in the creation process of Kendrick Lamar’s follow-up to Good Kid, M.A.A.D City and Jay Rock’s long-awaited album, Top Dawg Entertainment President Punch is still making time share music. As a follow-up to “A Project Mind” and “Untitled” released earlier this summer, Punch gives us a brief history lesson on the streets of Los Angeles centered on the original Black Panther Party that would later off-spring into creating the Crips – then Bloods to follow.
