Saigon Details Beef With Prodigy [Video]

Famed rapper Saigon opens up about where he currently stands with Mobb Deep rapper Prodigy, revealing that he thought they were cool until an interview came out recently with Prodigy dissing him. Saigon adds to the conversation by explaining why he punched Prodigy, saying that he wanted to prove that he “wasn’t a sucker.” He then speaks on his time in jail, and goes back to the Prodigy situation, saying “it was the dumbest thing I could’ve done,” because he knew the consequences behind his actions.

Common Reveals Guests On “Nobody’s Smiling” LP [Video]

Common made rap heads explode when he announced that he’s releasing a No ID-produced album this Spring called ‘Nobody’s Smiling.’ Com gave VIBE a bit more insight into the project, which was inspired by the street strife taking place in Chicago and inner cities around America. “I got to the roots of who I am and where I come from,” the 41-year-old lyricist says. “I feel like this is going to be one of the greatest years for me, musically.” He says he’s looking forward to working with some young Chi-Town artists on his album, as well as Vince Staples and James Fauntleroy, who, aside from contributing to Common’s previous album The Dreamer/The Believer, has also worked with Beyoncé, J.
