Chris Webby’s interests span much further than music as he speaks on his time at Comic Con and working with the company IGN to play shows for video game lovers. Hinting at his own video game, Webby reveals that he would love to be a character in the next Grand Theft Auto game. Webby ends his time on Sway in the Morning doing what he does best, rapping his ass off. One of the best producers in the game right now, !llmind, joins the Joell Ortiz to break down their new collaborative project, “Human.” Giving us the overview on his rise to music making genius, !llmind speaks on having a music-loving father who inspired him to create. He tells stories of linking with the likes of D Prosper, Rhymefest and Kanye West on the road to producing on “Cruel Summer.” Starting with one studio session after the House Slippers tour, Ortiz explains that he simply loves being Joell Ortiz as he linked with !llmind to create another project. Keeping things clean cut with no gimmicks the two came up with the title “Human” on the basis of staying true to themselves. From Emilio Rojas to Bodega Bamz to Chris Rivers, Ortiz speaks on keeping his eyes on good talent that holds their own.
