Beanie Sigel Started Drinking Lean At 8 Years Old [Video]

The Philly rapper begins the interview by discussing a track he did with Bun B entitled “Purple Rain”, a song which explores the use of “lean,” a popular drink in hip-hop culture usually consisting of liquid codeine mixed with some type of soda. Beanie then touches on his experiences with the drink, explaining that he first tried it when he was just 8 years old. Shortly after this interview, Beanie was arrested after being pulled over. He was found to be in possession of codeine, pills and a large amount of money.
