Young Chop names the top three beats he’s ever produced, and says that Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” is his favorite. He explained that it means so much to him because it was the first record that got him global attention. Coming in second is “Love Sosa,” followed by Lil Reese’s “Us,” which he said “is never going anywhere.” When asked about working on French Montana’s “Ocho Cinco,” Young Chop said when he got the track back, the line “Told that b*tch give me head. Ocho Cinco,” was the funniest thing he’d ever heard. He said while the song didn’t do anything on the charts, it still goes nuts in the club.

Young Chop: “Kanye Knew ‘Yeezus’ Wasn’t Fan Favorite” [Video]

Young Chop opens up about working with Kanye on Yeezus, explaining that he served as a production consultant for the album, giving Kanye a “younger input” on songs. When asked about the record not being a favorite among fans, Young Chop said that Kanye knew that when making the album, but wanted to prove that he could do anything. The famed Chicago producer also shares what he learned from Kanye, revealing that he’s staying up for 24 hours in the studio now to get things done. He adds that Kanye has been the most talented producer he’s worked with — that is, until he gets a chance to hop in the lab with Pharrell.

Young Chop: “There’s Too Much Money For Rapper Beef” [Video]

Young Chop opens up about why he named his mixtape “Precious,” saying that he was just messing with people who said he looked like Gabourey Sidibe. When asked about most people getting mad at comments like that, Chop said it doesn’t bother him because he’s not about beef or drama. Adding to the conversation, the Chicago super producer said that he’s never understood rapper beef, because there’s too much money out there for people to be beefing. He also shares that most big time people engage in fake beef and are “characters.”
