Treach from Naughty By Nature was one of many legendary guests on SiriusXM Backspin’s recent Hip-Hop For Herc event (hosted by Chuck D of Public Enemy with The Wonder TwinZ on the turntables), which raised awareness of the fact that one of hip-hop’s founding fathers, DJ Kool Herc, is suffering from spiraling medical bills, and because he is uninsured, cannot pay for them. Treach did an impromptu performance of Naughty By Nature’s “O.P.P. ” and “Uptown Anthem” with help from DoitAll from Lords Of The Underground, Kangol Kid of UTFO, Lil’ Fame of M.O.P. and JDL from Cold Crush Brothers.
