Before the Smoker’s Club tour got underway, Nyck stopped by the office to sit down for his own On The Come Up episode. Nyck walks us through how he met Joey Bada$$, talks about the heavy influence Capital Steez had on his mixtape, reveals he has plans to pursue acting further and more. As for linking with Pro Era, Nyck explains, “I met Joey in dance class cause we were doing acting and we had to take this dance class. I choreographed a wrestling ‘dance,’ but it wasn’t a dance it was just wrestling, cause we didn’t wanna do a dance so the teacher let us choreographed wrestling match. That’s how I met Joey, so we just knew each other over the years, and then they started rapping. And then Steez seen me rap at a show and he came up to me the next day,” and the rest, as they say, is history.
