Pellican Child – Turn Me Down [Audio]

Louis The Child and Pell are Pellican Child. Pell and Louis The Child met over the summer, spending roughly 48 hours in the studio together, culminating in the creation of a handful of songs. These songs took a life of their own becoming Pellican Child – a new side project from the artists launching today with the first single, “Turn Me Down”. Louis The Child and Pell first performed “Turn Me Down” at two sold out Louis the Child + Pell shows in Chicago at the end of November, and will be making the west coast Pellican Child debut on December 9th in Los Angeles at The Fonda – also a sold out Louis The Child + Pell date. Caleborate feat. Pell & Sylvan LaCue – Options [Audio]

Since breaking onto the scene last year, Caleborate has a lot more “options” in life than ever before. After his 2015 project Hella Good put the Bay Area rapper on everyone’s radar on the West coast, Caleborate is back to prove he won’t stop until he reaches the top. His brand new record “Options” is just a glimpse into his forthcoming album 1993. “It’s my birth year,” Caleborate said in an email. “I personally think that being born in that generation ’90-95 is a pretty special time to be born in because we got to experience life pre-cell phone, but we also came of age when technology became an inseparable part of our everyone’s everyday lives.” In “Options,” the 23-year-old emcee relives the inner struggles a majority of rising artists in the industry go through during their come-up. “All my life been setbacks / ain’t gon give in or accept that / I got options like Cam Newton or Steph Curry with the stepback,” Caleborate raps. Florida rapper Sylvan LaCue and Pell also come through to throw down bars on the Cal-A produced single. via VIBE
